About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Manager - EHS to oversee all Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) aspects at our manufacturing site in Nashik. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with environmental regulations, health and safety standards, and implementing effective procedures and systems.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and manage EHS programs, policies, and procedures in alignment with local regulations and company standards.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, assess risks, and ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
Lead the investigation of accidents, incidents, and near misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Provide training and support to employees on EHS practices, procedures, and emergency response protocols.
Collaborate with management and other departments to integrate EHS considerations into daily operations and decision-making processes.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations and industry best practices, and ensure that the site adapts to any changes in legislation.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are preferred.
Proven experience in EHS management, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, health and safety standards, and risk management practices.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
