About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and organized HR Executive to join our Human Resources team at our Mumbai Head Office. In this mid-level role, you will play a key part in managing various HR functions, including recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, and compliance with labor laws. The ideal candidate will work closely with department heads to support workforce planning, maintain HR records, and foster a positive work culture. This role is essential in ensuring smooth HR operations and driving employee satisfaction across the organization.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment & Staffing: Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process including job postings, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and onboarding new employees.

  • Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, handling issues related to workplace policies, grievances, and conflict resolution.

  • Payroll & Benefits: Coordinate with the finance department to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, attendance management, and employee benefits administration.

  • Compliance & Legal: Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, and maintain employee records in accordance with statutory requirements.

  • Training & Development: Assist in organizing training programs, workshops, and employee development initiatives to enhance skills and productivity.

  • Performance Management: Support the performance appraisal process by coordinating feedback sessions and ensuring timely completion of performance reviews.

  • HR Policies & Procedures: Contribute to the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures that align with company goals.

  • Employee Engagement: Plan and execute employee engagement activities, fostering a positive work environment and promoting company culture.

  • HR Systems & Reporting: Maintain HR databases and generate reports for management on workforce metrics, including headcount, turnover rates, and training outcomes.


Required Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in HR operations, preferably in a dynamic and fast-paced industry.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in HR software systems (HRMS, HRIS) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.

  • Problem Solving: Ability to address employee concerns, mediate disputes, and provide practical HR solutions.

  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in managing employee data, contracts, and reports.
